Basics of python

In this blog we are going to see what are integers, strings, floats, list and dictionaries with example

Strings

strings are alphabets from a-z , A-Z that we write inside a quote

ex: greetings = “hi” or ‘hi’ , here hi which is in double quotes or single quotes is a string

In the image above python which is in double quotes is a string

INTEGERS

integers are numbers from 0 to infinite

Ex: integer = 1 , here 1 is a integer

Here 10 which is inside the variable x is a integer

FLOAT

Floats are numbers which have decimal point(.)

Ex: x = 2.5 here 2.5 is a float as it contains a decimal point

Here 10.55 which is inside the variable 10.55 is a float
